Who I am
This website is a personal portfolio and tools site run by Ghalib Ali, a freelance digital solutions specialist in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. GTechQR is the name I work under. It is not a company. Contact: ali@gtechqr.com.
What I collect
- Forms. When you send a project request or a message, I store the details you enter (name, email, phone, company and your message) so I can reply.
- AI chat. Messages you type into the chat assistant are stored so the conversation can continue and so I can improve answers. They are processed by the AI provider I use. Do not enter passwords or sensitive personal data.
- Visit statistics. I record which pages are viewed, the referring site, device type, browser, country and a random visitor ID kept in a cookie. IP addresses are not stored; only a one-way hash is kept.
- Free tools. The QR code, barcode and scanner tools run in your browser. The content you enter is not sent to me. The SEO test sends the URL you enter to my server so it can fetch the page.
Cookies and third-party services
I use a first-party cookie for visit statistics and your browser storage to remember your theme, language and cookie choice. Analytics, advertising or similar third-party scripts (for example Google Analytics) load only if you accept them in the cookie bar.
How long I keep data
Messages and chat records are kept as long as needed to handle your request and for my records. Visit statistics are kept in aggregate form. You can ask me to delete your data at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data I hold about you by writing to ali@gtechqr.com.

I may update this policy. The date above shows the latest version.
